I’ve always believed that what truly sets a business apart is the personal journey behind it—the raw, real moments that go beyond the highlights. Starting NICE CRE is the boldest step I’ve taken in my career. It’s both exhilarating and a little scary. My goal? I want to be open about what drives me, what’s shaped me, and how my story influences my work today.
Since 2015, I’ve been fully immersed in commercial real estate marketing, working with brokerages and agencies and managing major clients. On paper the last couple of years seemed like I was thriving, but privately, I have been navigating the toll of multiple pregnancy losses—a journey that changed how I approached my work and life.
Work became a place to focus, a way to keep moving forward. I took on work trips just days after difficult news and surgeries, using that focus as a kind of steady ground. Along the way, my clients became more than business contacts; they became friends who extended support and kindness I didn’t know I needed.
This past year, something shifted. The weight of going nonstop for 3 years straight was heavy. I felt stuck and had reached a point where I realized I was no longer learning or growing. One afternoon this summer, I turned to my husband and said, “I’m quitting my job.” He looked at me, part amused, part stunned, and replied, “You can’t quit without something else lined up.” The next day, I put in my notice. LOL. If you know me, would you expect any less? It was a perfectly on brand leap into the unknown—both exciting and daunting.
Enter NICE CRE
Now, I’m building a business that’s about more than just marketing—it’s a reflection of what I truly value personally and professionally. Every day, I’m learning what it takes to run a business from the ground up, making choices that prioritize my clients’ best interests, doing work I’m passionate about, and collaborating with people I genuinely connect with. There are challenges, but for the first time, I feel fully in sync with my work.
Of course, starting something new brings its own questions. There are moments when I wonder, “Is this the right path? What if it doesn’t work?” But I remind myself that every big (and maybe rash) decision I’ve made has worked out and ultimately led to growth.
I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who has helped me reach this point—those who offered guidance and support during this transition and those who believed in NICE CRE long before I did.
Whether you’re looking to work together or simply following along, thank you for being part of this journey.
In growth & gratitude,
